One of our most unique teas, Lapsang Souchong goes through a unique extra-step in the production process: leaves used for this tea are hung in special bamboo baskets and infused with the smoke of pine fires after fermentation.

This technique gives this tea a distinct smoky aroma that offers a crisp, full flavor and creates a deep red beverage.

Lapsang Souchong was originally developed in the Wuyi Mountains of the Chinese Fujian province, and is made there to this day.
