Traditional sencha green tea with yuzu berries added for a fruit taste!
Sencha green tea is made a little different than other green teas out there. The leaves are picked during the first or second flush of the season, soon after they are picked the leaves are steamed for around 20 seconds to prevent oxidization. This is one of the defining qualities of Japanese Sencha tea, also giving it that nice bright green color. After the steaming when the fibers of the tea are loosened, they roll the tea into the traditional long needle shape.
