Oolong tea is a special kind of tea. Traditionally, it is semi-oxidized and withered under strong sunlight. You will notice as soon as you look at it that Oolong tea is curled and rolled very distinctively. Steeping these leaves in a clear glass teapot is an extra treat as you will get to watch the leaves unfurl into their full leaf!
The name Oolong comes from traditional Chinese "wūlóng chá" meaning "black dragon tea". Mainly produced and cultivated in the Fujian province of China these tea can vary from fruity and sweet to woody earthy.
